The location of Mistico Hostel 23 is fantastic, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The showers in the hostel are spacious and provide hot water, which was a great relief after a long day of hiking. The staff, particularly Freddy and Franco, were extremely helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our belongings at the hostel while we were out hiking and even let us use the showers when we weren't staying there. The mattress in our room was surprisingly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shared kitchen was a nice amenity, allowing us to cook our own meals.
While the common area upstairs was empty and had comfortable sofas, the rest of the common area was not as comfortable. It seems that very little has been invested in that space.

The staff at this hostel was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to keep our belongings safe while we were on a multi-day trek, without charging us anything extra. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access all the attractions and amenities. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities were clean and well-equipped.
The rooms were quite small, leaving very little space for luggage. there were no curtains, so privacy was limited.
